Hmm, guess what else happened in October 2006.
Fran Mainella is no longer the Director of the National Park Service. She was replaced by Mary Bomar, the current Director, in October 2006.

Also, Patricia Hooks resigned as Southeast Region Director. Currently Art Frederick is the Acting Director.
So there has been quite a shakeup just as Carol Clark decided to start a new naturist pogrom.

All new people on their side, I'm feeling better already. They always repeat the same arguement for the reasons why we shouldn't be on the beach. Still looks like one of the safest seashore in the U.S.
